This is the beacon light tower at the Batesville International Airport. It was foggy this morning on the way to work.

Bean day is now every Wednesday.

I had to run a few prints today at work. Well blue print might explain that better to you. Actually I’m printing the drawings from which the blueprints will be made. The picture shows the 36″ Hp plotter doing it’s job.

Here are a couple of product shots from my real job.

To help our creative process in photography we are starting this journal and plan to post a daily photo that is taken on that day.

This is Max our 9 year old Golden. He goes to work with Sheri everyday to the studio. He loves being petted and milk bones. I am sure you will see much more of Max on this journal.

As many of you already know we have our new studio open. So we are also taking this time to finish work on the studio and work on plans for 2008.

We will still be shooting basketball and events during this time but they will not be available until Jan. 15th or 20th.

YES - All your orders are being taken care of and if you still need to make payment you can do so online by following the link in your order confirmation email. When the galleries are back online all your information will still be intact. Older galleries will be view only but might have a “make gallery available for order” if that happens there will be a repost fee invovled.

Sheri & Clayton Cavaness

Ramsey Mountain gets another one.
Another log truck lost it’s load going up Ramsey today. We had to set in traffic for about an hour to get up the hill. I don’t know if anyone was hurt, hope not.

Local emergency services we on the job doing their best to keep traffic flowing and everyone safe during the clean up.

I did not take a photo on this New Years Day. So today on the way to work, actually on the way from my car to the front door, I took this photo.

This water tower is right outside our studio. Can you guess what water system it serves? Here is a hint: My Dad was in charge of this water system when it was built.

One more hint it has nothing to do with Southside.

Anyway I hope everyone has a great New Year in 2008.
