Lyon College is hosting their local high school basketball tournament again. The tournament will begin December 1 and run through 29 games to end on December 8th. This is an awesome tournament! Select Shots Photography will be there capturing the action. Look for our ad in the program.
If you want to make sure we get photos of your favorite player, just give us a shout when your see us there.

The Kiwanis Youth Football league season was completed this last Sunday with the Super Bowl final games. The first game was between the Chiefs and the Steelers. This game was a real nail biter at the end and could have gone either way. In the end the Steelers were in the lead and pulled in the victory.

The next game was between the Cowboys and the Bears. We could only stay into the third quarter and had to leave with the score still 0 to 0. It would be great if someone would tell us who won in the comment section of this post.

All the players, coaches, parents, volunteers and especially the Kiwanis are to be congratulated on another great season. The youth in our area are very fortunate to have programs such as the Kiwanis Youth Football league available and growing year after year.

Ms. Danielle and all the wonderful parents, teachers and volunteers have done it again - a very successful dance program.
The 1-3 graders in the West Magnet Visual and Performing Arts school presented their 2007 Rockin’ Christmas. What a great way to start the holiday season! The event was held at Independence Hall on the UACCB campus. Vickie Critcher and Gary Bridgeman kept things moving along as the master of ceremonies and really had a good time with the students.
(The 4-6 graders will be performing their program November 29th)
