The BHS Student Trainers came out to the Select Shots Studio this morning for donuts and a quick photo shoot. Seems we missed them on Team Photo day and they were nice enough to come out to the studio early on a Saturday too!

Thanks for coming out gals, we hope you had fun, we really appreciate you!

The shoot was fun. After a few camera problems(which I found out later was a bad cable) we ended up with the shots for the scoreboard display. That’s what we were after. You can view them, along with the rest of the team HERE.

They said I could post a few shots from the session on this blog so here they are. Click on the square with the arrow to view FULL screen. If you want to see the rest you’ll have to see if you can get the password for the gallery from one of them.

PS IT may be several days before I get the regular gallery up for yall. OR leave a comment and I will probably get to it faster.

Tracy and Jonathan are getting married and needed some engagement shots. They were really fun to shoot and I think we got a few they really liked. Can anyone guess where the outside shots were taken? Go ahead and guess you might win something or at least get a gold star.

Wow, the peach tree orchard is doing great at the Select Shots Studio.  Hey I bet we are the only photography studio with a peach tree.

Sheri and I shot a handsome young man today. We also shot him with his pround parents. This shoot was sooo muuuch fun! New baby Keagan was so good. We can’t wait to do it again at 3 months. There were so many great shots it was really hard to pick a couple to post. Congratulations to the new parents and thank you for trusting Select Shots with your precious memories.

The 2008 Independence County fair is over. It is still hot but the “fun” of having the county fair in smoldering. sweaty and almost unbearable mid-July has again passed. IF you are wondering about all the winners at the fair this year visit www.icfair.com. All the winners were listed daily. This was a great aid to people and press.

A lot of people commented on our portrait of Max our 9 year old Golden Retriever. He goes to work at the studio every day. When you stop by he is usually the first one to greet you.

Sheri and I had the privilege to shoot with the Amazing Kathleen down on the River Walk in Batesville Ar. I put together this quick short video of a few of the photos.

As many of you already know we have our new studio open. So we are also taking this time to finish work on the studio and work on plans for 2008.

We will still be shooting basketball and events during this time but they will not be available until Jan. 15th or 20th.

YES - All your orders are being taken care of and if you still need to make payment you can do so online by following the link in your order confirmation email. When the galleries are back online all your information will still be intact. Older galleries will be view only but might have a “make gallery available for order” if that happens there will be a repost fee invovled.

Our location is 1510 Batesville Blvd. - Batesville, Arkansas. We are about 1/4 mile north of the Mark Martin Ford dealership on the opposite side of the road.

We Are keeping odd hours at the studio as we get completely up and going.
